Middle Class
I don't mean to be ostentatious or snooty. In fact being middle class is hardly great. It is undoubtedly a very comfortable existence. However you fall within a strata of society where you aren't powerful enough to justify your existence and also, that leads to increasing discontent. Even though, all in all, there's nothing wrong with the way you lead your life. The house is there, the car is there, and all the little luxuries you need are well within reach without any issue of being unable to afford them.
All in all, I would say being middle class is the best class to be in if you want to live an apathetic existence. You neither have to worry about putting on your best behavior, neither do you worry about putting food on the table.
Having seen and mingled with people from both ends of society, I would say am extremely fortunate to be able to socialise into these two groups, and at the same time pick up valuable experiences and lessons from both sides. It is fortunate indeed that I was born here, having been sheltered and yet taught in such a way that I have full liberty to decide the way I want to live my life.
And let me tell you, I'm much happier down there :)
