One fine Saturday afternoon, we went long kang fishing at a deserted farm in Lim Chu Kang.

They provided very small nets and very small pails, and a winding longkang with fast swimming fishes.

Yes there are lots of hungry koi. You can feed them by buying fish food for $1 and then watching them gobble up all the pellets with their gaping big mouths.

This is the souvenior you get for longkang fishing at their carefully constructed longkang maze. Mind you, this is for kids only. Although adults can help.

Although you have to release all the longkang fishes you caught (they are not very easy to catch anyway), you can get pretty decent cute goldfishes.

This is the whole package, a decent sized plastic tank, a bag of fish food, two goldfishes in oxygenated bags, and 1/2 hour of longkang fishing with a net and pail, all for $6.
